  • "By his artist's temperament and his stylistic option, Andrei MEDINSKI can be counted among those post-modern painters for coagulating agent of their creation formula. ... The "charged" portrait, hinting at the grotesque, particularly approaches the heraldry image of the harlequin, of the acrobat - an image meant to suggest both the ability one needs in rope dancing and the precarious human condition in general. Landscape and still life bring forth the yearning for peaceful agreement with the world, developing a poetry of the regression towards the time and space of adolescence ..."

  • "A painting of aggressive tinges, in fact a manner of drawing red herrings across the track or, maybe, a nutshell around the core of sound man-like humour ... "
    TRAIAN ABRUDA

  • "The painter contemplates at monumental size (both in direct and in the figurative sense of the phrase) and very artlully a grotesque, violent and bedizened world, "a circus of the world, a century". The surprising anecdote is ingeniously correlated to the charged outline and the irradiating colour."
